  • Use Advanced when you need more control over extensions, authorities, and policy
  • Upload metadata and token image before minting
  • Confirm the result and continue into management

Before You Start

Simple

Advanced

Use this when you need extension settings, authority control, or a more detailed review flow.

In both modes, the final action is Create Token and requires wallet approval.

Simple Mode

This mode is best when you want to create a token quickly without walking through every advanced configuration step.

What You Should See

  • Token Program

  2. Fill in Name, Symbol, Decimals, and Initial Supply.
  3. Upload Token Image.
  4. Add optional description and metadata where available.
  5. Click Create Token.
  6. Approve the wallet transaction.

Example

Use Simple when you want a standard launch token with a name, symbol, image, and initial supply, but you do not need special extension settings yet.

Common Failure

  • Sign-in required
  • Missing required fields
  • Token image required
  • Transaction simulation failed

Advanced Mode

  • Token Program
  • Extensions
  • Basic Info
  • Policy
  • Authorities
  • Metadata
  • Review

Advanced mode

Advanced mode flow showing step navigation for extensions, policy, authorities, metadata, and the final review.

What To Do

  1. Choose the token program.
  2. Configure extensions if you are using Token-2022.
  3. Fill in the token basics and supply.
  4. Review policy and authority settings.
  5. Upload metadata and image.
  6. Check the final review step before you mint.
  7. Click Create Token.

Example

Use Advanced if your token needs stricter authority planning or Token-2022 extensions from day one. It is the better choice when the token will power a public campaign and governance around controls matters.

Common Failure

  • Missing required fields
  • Token image required
  • Invalid extension combination
  • Please resolve validation errors before deploying

Use Advanced when token settings will matter later. It is easier to choose the correct authority and policy up front than to explain a mistake after launch.
