Troubleshooting

Use this page when the product flow does not behave the way you expected. Start with the symptom closest to what you see on screen.

Wallet is not connected or signed in

Reconnect the wallet and complete sign-in before retrying the action. Many Bonkit flows stay read-only until both connection and sign-in are complete.

The token mint is invalid

Check the mint address carefully. If you pasted it manually, compare it with the source mint again. If the flow requires control over the token, also confirm the connected wallet has the required authority.

My token does not appear correctly on Solscan

Explorers may take time to index newly created tokens.

If your token symbol or metadata is missing:

  • wait for the explorer to index the token
  • verify that token metadata exists onchain
  • check the mint address in a Solana explorer

Bonkit does not control how explorers display token metadata.

Recipient list fails validation

Review the input file or pasted rows before retrying.

Check for:

  • invalid wallet addresses
  • duplicate rows you did not intend
  • missing amounts
  • formatting copied from a spreadsheet with hidden characters

Merkle upload or validation fails

Check the recipient dataset again.

Common causes include:

  • invalid wallet addresses
  • inconsistent token amounts
  • dataset mismatch with the campaign configuration

If the backend or validation queue is busy, wait a moment and retry the upload.

The campaign cannot be funded

Make sure:

  • the connected wallet holds the token balance you expect
  • the selected mint is the correct one
  • the campaign was set up with the token you intended to distribute

The campaign does not start

Review the checklist first. In most cases, launch fails because recipients, funding, or schedule setup is still incomplete.

Claim eligibility returns no result

Confirm that:

  • you are using the intended wallet
  • the campaign is the correct one
  • the uploaded allocation dataset actually includes that wallet

Claim button is disabled

Check whether:

  • the campaign has started
  • the wallet is eligible
  • the claim window has not ended

A claim transaction fails

Review the wallet prompt carefully and make sure the wallet has the assets required for the action, including SOL for Solana network transaction fees.

A page loads, but data looks incomplete

Check whether you are using the owner wallet, the correct network, and the correct token or campaign route. Many “missing data” issues come from opening the wrong mint or campaign rather than from the product itself.

What to collect before asking for help

If you still need support, keep these details ready:

  • the page you were using
  • the action you clicked
  • the visible error message
  • the mint or campaign involved
  • the network and wallet context

If you need the onchain error reference, see Contract Errors.
